Bike MS 2025!

Join us as we embark on our biggest adventure yet in the 2025 Kansas City Bike MS ride! This year, Team Katie is more excited than ever to rally together, grow our team, and make an even bigger impact in the fight against MS. We’re calling all cyclists – from those who comfortably coast around the block to century riders. If you can safely navigate on two wheels, whether you’re 12 or 112, we want you on our team! Electric bikes are welcome, and first-timers are encouraged; we’re all about camaraderie, and no one gets left behind. This is more than just a ride; it's a journey shared with friends, family, and community. So dust off those wheels, bring your energy, and let’s make 2025 unforgettable with the largest, most spirited Team Katie yet!

Our Story

Team Katie sprang to life in memory of Katie Miller, my beloved mother-in-law, who bravely fought Multiple Sclerosis for 29 years until her passing on May 4, 2006. Witnessing the profound impact MS had on my family spurred me to support others battling this relentless disease. My MS 150 journey began in 2007 alongside a cousin and my employer’s team. The following year, we launched Team Katie, creating a welcoming space for friends and family eager to join the cause. While the event's name and routes have evolved over time, the spirit of our founding members endures, with most riding annually since Team Katie's inception.

In 2025, we’re cranking it up a notch! We’re aiming for our biggest team yet, and we’d love for you to be part of it. To mark the maiden voyage of the Kansas City Bike MS ride from Union Station, Team Katie is trading Lycra for Hawaiian shirts. Yes, you read that right—this year, we’re bringing island vibes to the prairie. Think of it as a rolling luau, minus the pineapples on the handlebars (probably).

So, are you up for a meaningful (and moderately ridiculous) challenge? It would be our absolute honor if you’d join Team Katie this year. Ride for a cause close to our hearts, rock the Hawaiian shirt, and let’s make MS wish it had stayed home.
